I just wanted to let you know that Forever in Blue Jeans is retiring on June 3rd 2023. We have been on our farewell tour since January 2023 and after almost 30 years I have decided it is time to hang up my Blue Jeans.
​
It’s not through ill health, it’s just me saying thanks for everything. I’ve had a ball with the shows over the years and have appreciated all the support I’ve received from both yourselves and the lovely folks who work within the show, present and past!
​
Of course, many of you may know that my lovely husband, Bob Newman, who passed in 2014, ran both the business with me and featured in the show on bass guitar and vocals. He was also the producer…many of the medleys we are still doing were Bob’s ideas and compilations.
​
We’re lucky to have been married for 25 great years and I have no regrets about anything we ever did together. We had a blessed marriage and a great working life, having travelled around the world with our own act and then later starting Forever in Blue Jeans…. whoever would have thought it would last as long as it has and have been so successful for us.
​
I am still continuing to both run and feature in our other incredible show, The Carpenters - Voice of the Heart, so when the Forever in Blue Jeans website is no longer active, please keep in touch with us and check our Carpenters tour dates via this website:

You may not realise it, but each and every one of you plays a crucial role in making our job such a pleasure. When we see you dancing, singing along, and throwing your hands up in the air, it ignites a fire within us that takes our performance to a whole new level. You are the heartbeat of Forever in Blue Jeans, and your cheers and applause have been the soundtrack to our success.
I am so happy I can carry on touring as I always have with Rachel Cantrill, Dave Sheriff, Martyn Cooper, Graham Walker, Gordon Goodwin, John Blackburn, Carolyn Lawford and last but never least, our sound engineer Christian Finn. Life just wouldn’t be the same without this big-hearted crew.
